😱😱😱 OMG! Absolutely the WORST restaurant experience of my life!! The salsa was fermented, chips were stale and fried in rancid oil. Waiter brought my iced tea(which was clearly spoiled) with a HUGE bug floating on the top! Entree came out. Beans were spoiled and the rest of it was inedible as well. I was shocked that they even attempted to serve food that had clearly been cooked days, maybe even weeks in advance! I'm guessing business is scarce in the middle of the desert. Please save yourself from food poisoning. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

This place is awesome located on hwy138 in Pinon Hills. They have great Mexican food and good selection on the menu. Also the margaritas are greatBring your friends and family for any occasion.

The inside looks nothing like the outside. Very folkloric and beautiful. So much art all over the restaurant. The food was delicious.

What an excellent restaurant!! Jesus and Lourdes have done a wonderful job here. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the decor is beautiful. The food is absolutely terrific and the drinks are excellent. In all these years I've never had a complaint. I bring most of my clients here and all of my family. I celebrate every birthday here. It is my favorite place. Wish they were open later because I am a late diner, but this is Pinon Hills, not L.A. You will not be disappointed if you choose Casa Ortega.

I really like these guys and I've only gotten take-out orders on the way back from Orange County or Nevada.The chili relleno, albondigas soup and tacos were tasty and authentic. Complimentary chips and salsa. The staff was friendly and efficient. There is plenty of parking, but the only entrance is on Pearblossom Highway and it comes up fast so be ready.Maybe one of these times I'll sit down for a meal, but until then it's a great take-out spot on the way to Pearblossom and Littlerock, California.

Unlikely gem. Not your typical americanized Mexican restaurant. The menu is interesting with some more authentic items alongside the classics. Most importantly, the food is delicious. We also had a couple caddilac margaritas which were quite good and not too sweet.

We passed this little wonder on the 138 right after thanksgiving. At first glance we thought it was closed but quickly noticed the, “business open” posting. So we pulled in and went inside. Let me first start off by telling you if you have been looking for an outstanding Cadillac margarita, then this is the place to go! A bit pricey but most definitely worth it! They are pretty big as well which makes it even more worth it! Our food came out pretty fast which was great, I had the arroz con pollo which was fantastic, my girlfriend had some enchiladas with chicken I believe but she kept stating that they were amazing. The waiter that served us turned out to be the owner, friendly guy and provided great service, I was surprised that such an establishment would be dead! Take it from me, if you’re driving on the 138, take a gander at this hidden gem, trust me! Will definitely be back!

Awesome folks, service is great & food is always on point! Here weekly, sometimes twice a week, my lady is the loud one! Enjoy (fried ice cream sandwich a favorite with the kids) pitcher of margaritas are great too!

I was worried at first since this place is literally in the middle of nowhere, but to our delight this place rocks and has the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Excellent service and fair pricing.

I usually drop in for a couple margaritas and either dinner or just a quick bite.service is good food is also good. The decor is very nice and if you like something on the Wall you can buy it. Glazed pottery lizards, stained glass birds etc

First time here. Walked in, stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign for EVER, finally decided to seat myself at the bar. Never saw a bar tender, server or any other employee. It was like something out of the twilight zone and i eventually walked out.
